Art Deco painted celluloid birds FINAL REDUCTION SALE
Made in Japan in the 1920s, these sweet animal figures are cut from thin celluloid. We came across a lot of 12 varying animals and decided to list them separate for those of you who might like a few for a specific animal collection, such as birds. Or use them on a window ledge, your desk at work, or dresser in a nursery. All of them measure between 1.75 inch to 2 inches and have a black base so they stand. A few of them look like Disney characters from cartoons when I was a kid, but it's hard to say if they were made for promotion or for game tokens.
We just found out these were originally table place setting card holders. What fun for a party!
