Union winter hat brown velvet feather size 8 by Livingstons Youngstown

This is one of my favorite vintage hats. Dark brown velvet with a hint of cinnamon in a rounded, slightly gathered top surrounded with rows of feathers that I'd guess are goose judging from the color. From under the feathers comes a rim that curves inward. I can imagine a Victorian women in this hat with fur muff, just like in the movies. The style is timeless, still fitting in to today's fashions. It's in excellent condition, not even looking worn. The Union tag reads G 8, or size 8, small. Also tagged Livingston's, Youngstown.
