Strong Art Deco motif paved square brooch. Sharp Art Deco lines, sprays and swirls make this brooch one of the nicest we've ever had in our inventory. The more you look at it, the more images are imagined. It looks like sun rays, a dragon fly, bee or bird, or maybe flowers or a rose. Our photos don't do it justice, as the paste stones, which are all still original, have so much sparkle they look like marcasite even though a good share of them have darkened. It is also made of nickel silver, a metal used during the 1920s-40s, but not often seen in jewelry compared to other metals. The square frame measures just shy of 2 inches across by 1.75 tall.
