French Art Deco Facet Crystal Belt Buckle

This large crystal buckle has facets on both back and front of the stones. It has a distinct art deco design with clean lines. Measuring over four inches across and nearly two inches wide, it is designed so the belt fabric runs behind, and no doubt held in place with a hidden snap (we've included a couple photos with a ribbon to give you a glimpse at how it would look). The buckle is marked, and I'm taking a stab at guessing it to be "Depose", which would make it French. A magnet does not attract to the metal, which looks like sterling, but we don't know whether it is. One of the large stones moves a little within the prong setting, but is secure.
