Krementz Filigree Bar Pin from 1930s
With no other mark other than Krementz, its hard to say if this bar pin is one they made with an overlaid of gold, or it could be sterling. Krementz jewelry was always well made and expensive at the time. It measures 2.5 inches, is done in fine filigree work and the center gives the appearance of a monogram, although it is not. It can be dated to the early 1930s, the firms first years of manufacturing jewelry, from the locking clasp. This type of catch dates to the late 1800s and were not used frequently in the United States, or much after the 1920s.
