Mid-century Lapis Lazuli Sterling Pin
A very good piece of lapis is used in this mid-century pin. The pin is not marked but is sterling. The pop eye design is not easy to identify since it was used in Native American, Scandinavian, European and Middle Eastern jewelry. The roll-over clasp dates it to mid-century, with the primitive hinge giving the clue it was early on. The pin is 1-3/8 inch wide by 1-1/8 inch deep.
Definition of a person who thinks ahead: Someone who puts holiday gifts on layaway now.
