Rare Coro sweet pea brooch pink green enamel paved rhinestones. Coro did a series of outstanding floral brooches starting near the end of 1939, and predominately through the first few years of the 1940s. Since this sweet pea brooch is so rare, and the patent descriptions for the most part only described them as floral, its hard to pinpoint the date on this brooch. Keeping with the series, it measures a good 3.5 inches in length. The enameling, which is still in very good condition, is two-tone pinks and greens and the stems are paved rhinestones. I just noticed there is one missing which will be professionally replaced before shipping. The brooch is rhodium plated and marked Coro.
