Coro Geissmann parrot bird pin on branch blue polka dot enamel rhinestone head 1938. I believe some folks call this Coro bird pin a woodpecker, but I think it looks like a kingfisher - then again, I'm a bird watchers and not a jewelry manufacturer! He is enameled primarily in shades of blue, some mixed with yellow accent, white polka dots on the chest feathers, and a knobby brown branch. Most of the yellow enameling on the top of his peak is chipped away. This has always been one of my favorites by Coro, and I'm sure the new owner will be delighted with him. Measures 2-7/8 inches.
