Enamel Coro hyacinth brooch 1941 - book example in Brunialti's American Costume Jewelry, volume 1 where only the best of the best are viewed. The hyacinth collection by Coro is highly desirable, and hard to find, especially this single flower brooch. Many of these rhodium plated pieces by Coro are illegibly marked, which is just about the case with this gorgeous hyacinth. After finding the book example of the matching duette brooch, I looked with a loupe and found it faintly showing. This brooch is in remarkable condition with only a couple flea bites in the lavender enameling on the flower buds, and one stone starting to dye on the leaf. It has a total length of 3-3/8.
This is one of the outstanding pieces from a collection hand picked just for you.
