Delicate flower earrings hand-made with sea shells. Each screw-back earring measures .75 inch across, and is made up of three creamy white flowers with green painted leaves. Jewelry made of shell was popular in the late nineteenth century and again in the mid twentieth century. These are from the later period. We purchased a number of these in our travels for a client we had when doing shows that collected them, and this is one of a few pairs we have left. This is also my favorite, being so delicate they look like real flowers. As you can see, one of the screw knobs is different and looks like it was replaced. They function perfectly fine.
