A great looking pin circa late 1930s, early 40s. He is unsigned but I strongly suspect he is a Coro bird pin because his enameling is very delicate and detailed – a Coro characteristic – and flying Blue birds were a frequent Coro subject done with a variety of finishes. He is made of pot metal and has a period correct `C' clasp. His head is a bright blue enameled and has a ruby red beck. Hand set square cut sparkling rhinestones. He is 3"inches long by 2 1/2" wide, and is in very good condition. There may be a few small pave rhinestones missing on the wings which is visible with a loop. A cheerful colorful pin- you'll exude optimism just wearing him.
