This rare, fabulous, and oh-so-collectible duette was made by Coro in the 1940s. similar to the quivering camellia (here the flower is secure), the shell around each flower is reticulated with bands covered with sparkly crystals. The flower itself features clear baguettes w/red stone in center. and the ribbons contain gorgeous ruby red baguettes. The metal is gold tone. By removing the patented duette mechanism, you can separate the brooch into two fur clips. Each clip is signed Coro and the mechanism is signed Coro duettes, with pat. no. 1798867. The brooch measures 2 1/2" x 2" and is at least 1" deep. Excellent vintage condition. No missing stones. The crystals are still quite clear and sparkly
Some wear on the metal and a few yellow stones.
