This listing is for a beautiful English antique Robert Cooke Parian Ware Figurine Lamp of two School Children sheltered under an umbrella standing on a boulder. There is a storm and the older girl seems very protective of her younger sibling. The Parian Ware Porcelain Figurine has been made into a lamp which is in perfect condition. There are a few little black specks imbedded into the boulder but aside from that the lamp is in excellent condition with the following measurements: 12” High Figurine x 6” x 7” Oval Diameter x 23 ½” top of finial.
Impressed on the back boulder is “RC”, attributed to Robert Cooke. The piece was produced in the 19th Century, specifically the 1870s. He made Parian goods in large quantities for the American market. He was also a glass merchant at Fenton.
