This Art Deco Habille Cameo (Which in French means 'dressed cameo', in which a female is carved wearing an adornment such as a necklace or hair ornament and the carver drills a hole in the shell to set a small gemstone. It has a flip down bale allowing the piece to be worn as a pendant or as a pin.
The cameo depicts a right facing woman with her hair loosely pulled back with delicately carved flowers gently surrounding her bun. This cameo is also extremely feminine and her necklace is quite lovely. A diamond that is delicately bead set inside the necklace adorned by the woman. The diamond is circular cut. The cameo is framed by a 14k (marked on the frame) yellow gold that is in excellent condition with all the filigree fully intact. The pin mechanism and flip down loop are in perfect working condition. The beautiful cameo measures 1 ¼" high x 1 ¾" wide.
She is lovely and in perfect condition. This is a work of art that can be worn or admired in your collection.
