I am pleased to present you the opportunity to be the proud owner of an ENTIRE set of dinnerware in the pattern Chintz by Fostoria; Number 6026. The place setting for eight includes a water goblet, wine glass, cup and saucer, dinner plate and bread and butter plate. As an extra bonus there is a matching creamer and sugar bowl, a three toed serving bowl and a flat base small round mayonnaise or sauce bowl with scalloped edges. I've listed all the measurements of the pieces below. This set is in excellent condition.
The Fostoria Glass Company began their history in Fostoria, Ohio in 1887. They eventually moved to Wheeling, WV and then to Moundsville after the natural gas deposits ran out in Fostoria.
The pattern Chintz was first introduced in 1940 and was made through 1976. It is of the distinctive Baroque style and features a signature fleur-de-lis in its design. It is simply a gorgeous pattern, and will make any dinner table look spectacular.
In the photograph of the coffee cups you will notice there is only seven; one cup had left the herd but is now here in fine condition. I just didn't re-take that picture. The total weight of this set is a little over 34 pounds which is why I am putting the shipping as freight. I have A LOT more photographs; so please contact me if you would like to see more.
I think you will agree, this is a lovely set of dishes and it is quite a rarity to find a complete set of these dishes available.
