These are two lovely ivory colored serving plates that measure 8 ½ inches wide. They were made by Rosenthal Porcelain who is located in Bavaria (which was "The Kingdom of Bavaria" from 1806 to 1918; then became a part of Germany). They are gorgeous decorated with a large center floral design in blue and pink; the rim which is lined on both sides in gold, is completely covered with complimenting floral displays. These will look gorgeous on your table.
The marking says "Rosenthal Ivory, Bavaria; Belrose, Patent applied for". There is also a hand written marking on both plates which is rather hard to read. One has "R" or "Y 653" and "es" the other one has "2653" and "JR". They are in good condition.
