This is a beautiful set of cups and saucers, sadly missing one cup. I do have the orphan saucer which I will include in this offer. These cups were made by A.B. Jones & Sons (LTD) who used the trade name "Grafton" or more commonly "Royal Grafton". They were porcelain and earthenware manufacturers at Grafton Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent from 1900 through 1972. This particular mark "ABJ" "Grafton China Made in England" was used from 1935 on.
The set of cups includes three green, three blue, three peach and two pink; all with matching saucers. They are gorgeous pastel colors and floral designs. The saucers are white on the inside circle, each having a floral design in the center. The lovely cups have the matching pastel coloring on the inside of the cup; the outside of the cups are white with the floral design around them. Both the cup and saucers are with scalloped edging.
As to condition, there are no chips or cracks. Two of the green cups are stained a little on the inside bottom. One of them has a stain going up the inside of the cup. It almost looks like a crack, but you cannot feel it with your finger. One of the peach saucers shows a little wear to the inside circle's gilding on the saucer; otherwise they all are in pretty good condition considering their age!
