LR # 262 is a cup plate from the Lacy PeriodLR # 262 is a cup plate from the Lacy Period

LR# 262 is a clear EAPG cup plate from the Lacy Period which was from 1830-1845. It can be found in the "Chiefly Eastern" origin section of the book "American Glass Cup Plates" by Ruth Webb Lee and James H. Rose. The photograph is on page 185 and the description is on page 197.

It's considered a conventional cup plate. The origin of this particular pattern is not certain; the diameter is 3 ¼". There are 6 fleur-de-lis & 6 trefoils on the shoulder; there are 66 even scallops on the edge; this one has a center dot. There is a fine crack line in the glass which cannot be felt but is visible, otherwise, in my opinion, it is in good condition.

Here is your opportunity to own a small piece of history!
