Antique Silver Calling Card Case

I think this antique case was used for calling cards. This sterling silver case dates to 1902 Birmingham England based on the silver hallmarks that appear on the outside and the inside of the lid. The shape is rectangular with an interesting bend. There is a large loop located under the hinge which leads me to believe this item would hang from a lady's chatelaine. The interior of the lid and the case have a nice gold wash.

Dimensions: 3.25" (8 cm) x 1.75" (4.5 cm) x 3/16" (5 cm)
Condition: There are two or more dents on one side, but overall in very good condition for its age.
