Up for sale is this antique Utica Floral Pitcher that is in excellent condition. It measures 8 1/2" high by 5 1/2" across and displays different floral sprays on each side. It has a German slogan on the front of the pitcher and cobalt highlights on the slogan, floral sprays, and handle. It is marked with a "2" on the bottom which likely stands for two liters. It is free of significant cracks and chips, but does have a 2-inch hairline just on the inside and one tiny nick at the spout. Neither of this issues distract from this very old and unique piece of stoneware and are visible in the pictures. The piece has the typical," in the making" stress lines where the handle atttaches to the body of the pitcher. This early piece of stoneware with make welcome addition to any White's Utica or stoneware collection.
