Up for sale are Two Union Pacific Scenic Limited Excursion Plates in mint condition. The plates measure 8 inches across and were issued for the 1997 Royal Gorge Excursion Special of Union Pacific 844 through the Royal Gorge. The plates have illustrated "Scenic Limited" on the front with authentication numbers and marks on the reverse. The consignor, China Concepts, for Union Pacific was Richard Luckin who authored the book "Dining on Rails". This auction is for both plates which would make a truly fine addition to any Union Pacific Railroad or railroadiana collection. The description and pictures accurately describe these two plates.
