A darling small silver Victorian pin. It has a raised center with a raised pattern. The lower part of the pin has an applied design. The back has a tube hinge and a C clasp. It is 1" in diameter. This pin would look good on a turtle neck or a blouse or jacket lapel. It is not marked sterling but has the look and the feel of sterling. It is a nice example of late Victorian jewelry. Women were beginning to go into the work force and wore this kind of jewelry. I found a similar pin in the Victoria and Albert Museum jewelry collection.
Condition: the front is good but the back shows its age. The price reflects this.
