This cup plate commemorates the Battle of Tippecanoe. The plate shows a log cabin with the words Fort Meigs above and the rim has vines and leaves and says Tippecanoe at the top and at the bottom Wm. H Harrison. It dates to around 1840. The scallops around the edge have some roughness, which is normal for early glass. It measures 3-5/16".
It was probably made in the Midwest since there is a latchstring on the door. It came from a collection I purchased some time ago. The paste from a label has not been cleaned off and shows up in the photos.
