This is a stunning example of the slide bracelet. It was appraised this Spring at @3,500.00 by a
GG appraiser. It is 14kt. yellow gold and contains 8 different slide charms. 1. round with floral design and a single cultured pearl in center. 2. heart shaped charm with bow or shamrock design and 9 cabochon turquoise. 3. square shaped charm with raised gold design and pink quartz cabochon stone. 4. hexagon shaped charm with cabochon oval garnet and snake with turquoise eye. 5. square charm with portrait of 18th C. woman with two garnets and two turquoise. 6. star shaped charm with opal set in floral design. 7. oval shaped charm set with two red coral cabochon stones in raised gold design. 8. rectangular charm with faceted citrine in elaborate raised design. The charms are separated by two gold balls and strung on a gold chain. The bracelet has a hidden box clasp and safety chain. The bracelet is 29.2 dwt.
The bracelet is in great condition with all the stones in place. Old 40-50's slide charms are usually more elaborate than later slides. This bracelet belonged to a woman who loved jewelry and had beautiful and unusual pieces.
