This is a perfectly elegant sterling basket. It has a repousee border of roses and leaves with a pierced border underneath with four repousse roses and leaves. There is some chasing on the repousse. The swing handle is pierced at the top. It has a pedestal weighted with cement. It was made by Mueck-Cary Co., Inc. of New York, New York. The trademark is now owned by Towle Silversmiths. The dimensions are: 4" high without the handle, add approximately 4-1/2" for the handle, and 6-3/4" in diameter. A lovely bit of decor for entertaining. Nothing suggests elegance more than sterling.

It is in great condition with one minor dent in the bowl part.
