This is a fine example of Meissen"s Triangle Gilding devised in 1827. The red triangle on the bottom of the plate was used on pieces with this gilding, which were fired at a higher temperature. The blue flower in the center is, of course, beautifully hand painted. The gilding is on the outer edge of the plate. Meissen glaze is always wonderful to feel and handle. The diameter is 9-3/8".
The condition is mint. There are some manufacturing flaws in the glaze. The gilding is still in tact.
