What a pretty pair of small figurines! The woman is holding a cloth with fruit and the man has a basket of fruit. They are dressed in complimentary clothing for the 1700's. They were made in Staffordshire, England by the William Kent (Porcelains) Ltd., Burslem, Staffordshire Potteries. They made earthen wares dating from 1944 to 1962. They made figurines from old moulds and are nicely colored. Their knot mark is on the bottom of both figures. The same mould mark is on the bottom for each. The dimensions are: woman is 4-3/4" x 1-3/4" and the man is 5" x 2". A wonderful pair that look much older than they are.
The condition is good except for the woman who has had her head repaired. It is not noticeable unless you hold the figurine and look. Hence the lower price.
