This beautiful lidded dish appears to be versatile; It is a nice size for a pot of beans baked in the oven, and a classic appearing presentation dish for a pasta salad or side dish; this could also be a pretty cookie container. The bowl area is 3 3/4" high, 6 3/4" across. The lid will keep in heat or maintain cleanliness for a buffet table. The design reminds me of the 1930's, but I do not have any information on this dish.
