This 4" high vase has a figure on it on it who appears to be glaring over his shoulder at you; his is a Daruma (Domo in Chinese Buddhism) and is holding a hossu (fly whisk). The brush trails over to a set of characters that may explain more about him. Behind the Daruma is a small round red bundle that is a Daruma doll. The vase is 6" across the widest point, has some aged crazing on the lower part. There is a small imprinted logo on the edge of the base, which I cannot read. This will be a conversation piece and source of pleasure wherever it is placed. I have other fascinating Asian vases and will combine orders for shipping savings. Please email me with any questions you may have, and thank-you for shopping here at Something Wonderful.
