Before styrofoam was invented, florists and gardeners relied on a glass or pottery frog to hold the flowers in place for a nice arrangement. This flower frog is a bit unusual in shape, looking like a chunk of tree trunk with holes in it. The frog is 2" high, 3 3/8" across the base and a light green color. This will be a different shape to add to a collection of flower frogs, and is useful for a display, perhaps in a low vase of the same color. This is unmarked for maker, but has some penciled numbers on the bottom. I have other frogs listed here, both glass and pottery and will combine orders for discount and shipping savings.
