At 19 1/4" high and 11 1/2" wide, this flying fish is ready to fly into your home and grace it with a symmetrical white sculpture by Haeger potteries from 1986. Haeger Potteries was established in 1852 in Kane Co., Ill., as Dundee Brickyard and became Haeger Potteries when David Haeger, a German immigrant and part owner, became sole owner. Haeger pieces have become collectible in recent years. The great-grand-daughter of founder David Haeger became president of the company in 1979; she recently announced that the company will cease operations this year. This flying fish was made in different colors, but I find the white to be the most elegant in appearance. This piece has one tiny chip (see picture), price adjusted. I have other lovely pottery pieces listed here and will combine orders for discount and shipping savings. Please email me with any questions you may have, and thank-you for shopping here at Something Wonderful.
