Lovely garlands of pink and blue roses decorate the Marie pattern by Theodore Haviland, and are found on both the cup and the saucer here. The saucer is 5 1/2" across, the cup is 2" high, 4 1/2" across cup and handle, 2" across the base. The bottom of both pieces state:Theodore Haviland, Limoges France. Theodore Haviland was the second generation in this family that moved from the USA to Limoges, France to be near the white clay perfect for high quality porcelain. Theodore built the largest factory of its kind in 1886 in Limoges. This Marie pattern was quite popular, produced from 1905-1915; this cup does not have any embossed pattern, as some pieces do. I have a variety of pieces in this pattern listed here, and will combine orders for discount and shipping savings.
