These 5" wide sauce bowls with the lightly strewn pink and blue rose garlands are the popular "Marie" pattern by Theodore Haviland. This pattern was produced from 1905-1915; Theodore Haviland was the second generation of the family famous for their high quality porcelain. Theodore's father had moved the family to Limoges, France to be near the high quality white clay, the best for making porcelain, and in 1890 Theodore built the largest factory of its kind. The bowls are 1" high at the rim, 2 3/4" across the round base, and have "Theodore Haviland Limoges France" on the bottom. I have 3 extra bowls, if you wish to have more than this set of 4, and a wide variety of other pieces in this same pattern. I will combine orders for discount and shipping savings. Please email me with any questions you may have, and thank-you for shopping here at Something Wonderful.
