Garlands of pink and blue roses are lightly strewn around the bowls on this popular "Marie" pattern by Theodore Haviland. The coupe soup bowls are 7 1/2" across, the rim is 1 1/2" above the table top and the base is 4 1/4" across. Theodore Haviland is the second generation in the family that moved to Limoges, France to be near the best white clay to create top quality porcelain china. He constructed the largest factory of its time in 1890; this popular "Marie "pattern was produced from 1905-1915. I have a variety of pieces from this pattern, and will combine orders for discount and shipping savings.
