This cream and sugar set are delicately hand painted with flowers and gold highlighting against a white background. The Noritake symbol on the bottom of the pieces was used from 1911-1921; the "M" stands for Marinura Bros., the original founders in the late 1800's; it is surrounded by a wreath, crowned with "Hand Painted" and above "Nippon." This sugar bowl is lidded, 3 3/4" high at top of lid and 6 1/2" across both handles. The creamer is 2 1/4" high at the spout, 5" across handle and spout. The gold on the handles of the sugar bowl is nearly gone from use, and there is a tiny chip on the rim of the spout of the creamer. This pattern is so lovely, it will be enjoyed whether used on your tea table or displayed in a cabinet. I have other Noritake items listed here, and will combine orders for discount and shipping savings.
