A bowler/Derby hat is a hard felt hat with a rounded crown created in 1850. These were designed by Lock's of St. James for the servants of the wealthy. This is also know as a Rob hat, Billy Colk or Bon Kin. This is the hat that went west, as it would remain on the head when windy; this stayed on the heads of such men as Billy the Kid, Butch Cassidy and Black Bart. Place this on your head and dance a jig, as it has been used in many a stage musical. The hat is 5 1/2" high, 11 1/2" front to back on the brim, and 9" across width of brim. There are a couple of minor indentations on the crown. I will combine orders for shipping savings. Please email me with any questions you may have, and thank-you for shopping here at Something Wonderful.
