This quadruple plated silver plated frame with a pink and white glass basket was originally intended to be a fruit basket, but these proved to be so popular as a wedding gift that they were quickly labeled Bride's Baskets. This piece has a silver plated frame that is 12 1/2" high at the top of the handle, 10 1/2" wide at the handle and has a square shaped base that is 5" square. The dark pink and white glass basket has a round base 3 1/2" across and a square shaped top rim with ruffles that is 7 1/2" square. This was made by Kelley & McBean Company in Niagara Falls, New York, but my researching that company has proved fruitless. If you have any information about this company, please email me, as I could not find it listed on silversmith or silver plate companies. I have other bride's baskets listed here, and will combine orders for discount and shipping savings. Please email me with any questions you may have and thank-you for shopping here at Something Wonderful.
