This old architectural piece of two women talking is red with a gold overlay on the robes, hair pieces and top and bottom, which has mostly worn off. It is a fine piece with a great deal of detail. The faces and hands are brown; there is a crack in the top awning. The piece is 5" tall x 3" wide, and 1 1/2" deep. There is a round hole behind the women's head, the moon (?) which I have used to hang the piece with a nail in the hole. You can see where the piece has been cut from a larger item, on the top edge. There is a fine patina to this piece and it is ready to enhance any room in which you may have Asian decor.
