These two Chinese mud men are from different centuries. The smaller older man has the pierced eyes and ears, his facial expression is great, he was holding something at one time and his hat has part of the rim broke off. He is from the 1800's he has China stamped on the inside. He measures approx. 3 1/2" tall and 1 3/4" wide. The taller and newer man from the 1900's measures approx. 4 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" wide. the paint and glaze is just awesome, the tip of his shoe is gone but other than that he is in great shape. China is stamped on the bottom. Mud Men were used to decorate around fish bowls and later in small gardens. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
