The BSK on the back of this brooch stands for B. Steinberg, Slovitt and Kaslo, the names of the partners in this jewelry firm that operated in New York from 1948 to the early 1980's and is best known for the "My Fair Lady" hat pins sold in theatres during the run of the 1962 movie with Audrey Hepburn. This brooch is 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" and 5/8" high with goldtone leaves draped below a "flower" that is a grouping of many small faux pearls. Some of the faux pearls are apparently replacements (see photo) with tiny stringing holes in them; the price has been adjusted. I have one of the "My Fair Lady" hat brooches listed here and will combine orders for discount and shipping savings to allow you to have two of this company's pieces. Please email me with any questions you may have and thank-you for shopping here at Something Wonderful.
