These 1" wide Trifari earrings have two rows of faux pearls, rhinestones set around the outer design, and a goldtone "s" across the top of the earring. These are by Trifari, known for good costume jewelry since the early 1900's. Trifari was born in Naples, trained in his grandfather's goldsmith shop, then came to New York in 1902. He worked for Weinberg & Sudzen, then went into business in 1912. He died in 1952, and the business continued, with the sons of the founders taking over in 1964. The reputation for good jewelry was long established, and the company has been incorporated into larger corporations. These beautiful earrings will shimmer and shine while they add to any ensemble you choose. I have other vintage jewelry listed here, and will combine orders for shipping savings. Please email me with any questions you may have, and thank-you for shopping here at Something Wonderful.
