These vintage Siam cuff links measure about 3/4" high and 3/4" wide at their widest point. I thought there was a break in the silver line of the halo but both pieces have that break so I assume that was part of the design, and it could be the halo is suppose to be a flame. The sides of the cuff links rotate up and down for a better fit. They are marked Sterling & Siam on the back. They have been part of my Siam collection, and I have had them for many years. Niello is similar to enameling and much of Siam jewelry uses this media, often these piece were bought by American soldiers and tourists from the 1030's to the 1970's and brought home. Siam jewelry is very collectable because of the wide variety of item, subject and the mystic of the country. Also these pieces are very wearable because they are sturdy and beautiful.
