Currier and Ives was the American printmaking firm headed by Nathaniel Currier and James Ives which operated in New York City from 1907-1934, making prints from fine artists as lithographs and then having those hand colored. The two scenes captured on these framed tiles are both winter scenes from bygone days. One is "A Home in the Wilderness" and the other is "The Old Homestead in Winter." These are 7 3/4" square with a hook on the back for ease in hanging. If you have a winter home, ski cabin or den with vintage prints, these will fit in beautifully. I have other Currier and Ives items listed here, and will combine orders for discount and shipping savings. Please email me with any questions you may have, and thank-you for shopping here at Something Wonderful.
