This exquisitely detailed vase is cloisonne, with fine work on every inch. The vase is 8 1/2" high, 2 1/2" across the open top, 2 1/2" across the base and 3 3/4" across the widest point. The neck and base have detailed floral and geometric designs, and the large area of the vase has beautiful flowers, a ribbon with trailing streamers and a butterfly. The background has the classic cloisonne wire shapes, and all of it is entrancing to view. I have long admired this craft, and have other cloisonne of different types listed here.
