This vintage hand carved box is about 2 7/8" high,3" in diameter at the base, 4 3/4" at the widest point. This box is dated 1944, so it was made during WWII, with either the artist name or the city it was made in. The etching on the top, of a woman is well done. The word Bretagne is on the side of the piece, the part of France where it was made along with decoration done in wood tone as well as green and white. It is in near mint condition. There are a couple of water spots on the lid. Please email me any questions and thank you for shopping at Something Wonderful.
