COMMENTS: This colorful pendant features a square fragment of Ming Dynasty-era porcelain set in silver base metal. The porcelain used in this jewelry washed up on the banks of the Chao Praya river in Thailand. During the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), trading vessels from China plied those waters, taking their cargoes--including porcelain--to the ancient capital of Ayuthaya. Each piece of our Ming Dynasty porcelain jewelry is unique.
