Here is a Royal Windsor porcelain hand painted garniture set. This set consists of a 30 hour key wind clock that works and two urn rococo style vases. These hand painted pieces have a lush scenic wetland background with beautiful white herons in the forefront. The coloring is very vivid and eye catching. There is a heron on the clock. There is a heron on each vase facing the clock. There is gold gilding around the top and the handles of the vases but does show some wear. The clock works and is started with a key.
The clock is 17" tall, 12" long and 4" wide.
The clock mechanism is not signed. Royal Windsor is signed on the bottom of the clock. There is a condition issue with a chip on the right foot. The clock appears to keep good time.
The two vases are 15" tall and 8" wide.
L. Reid is signed on the front of one vase and Reid is signed on the other. There are a few small scrapes on the back of one of the vases. There is spotty light crazing on all of hte pieces. There are no good clues to age but it is believed these were made in the 1960s or 1970's.
