Here is a vase by Doulton Lambeth that was made in England between the late 1800'sand the early 1900's. This is a beautiful vase with a cobalt blue background on the upper and lower parts. There are leaves and flowers in relief in this cobalt area. The middle is a tan color with a pebbly texture. White and a salamander colors are enamel painted on this portion of the vase. The color can be called an orange red, depending on the light. There is also a gilded lace tracing the flowers and also forming stems and leaves. It is a beautiful and unique piece. The Slater of Doulton is known to have made the higher end pottery of the time. The lower section is separated by a beaded row. There is one scrape just below one bead and can be seen in picture three. There are no chips cracks or repairs. The vase is approx. 11 1/2" tall. There is another listing in this shop that has an identical vase except the flower color is blue.
