Charming 10K yellow gold ring featuring a vibrant teardrop shaped sapphire. The band has a split shank that is a modified bypass design. One arm of the shank on each side is adorned with tiny white gold beads that give the look of diamonds twinkling along its curve. In fact, unless my eyes deceive me, there is one little clear stone on one side of the sapphire!
The ring is about a size 6 and 3/4. The sapphire is about 7 mm by 5 mm. The ring weighs 2.1 grams.
Marked "10K" on the inside of the band. There is another mark inside the band that looks like "AU"--probably a maker's mark, but not one that I recognize.
Very good condition! The sapphire was tested with an electronic gem tester. I suspect it is a lab-created sapphire, because I cannot see any inclusions in the stone with a 10 power loupe.
