All orders will be shipped within 24 hours with the possible exception of those placed late on a Friday, or on Saturday. Due to limited Saturday hours at our local post office, these orders may be shipped on Monday.

I adhere to the Ruby lane site-wide return policy, with one exception. I allow 7 days (rather than 3 days) after receipt of your purchase to notify me if you wish to make a return. Receipt of purchase date is the delivery date specified by USPS delivery tracking. Seven days after the delivery date, the transaction will be finalized in Ruby Lane, and returns cannot be accepted after that time.

Returned items will be issued a refund of the purchase price plus sales tax, minus the non-refundable Paypal fee and minus the original shipping cost.

Shipping, Handling, Insurance Policy

Free domestic shipping for jewelry purchases over $50. Buyer pays shipping and insurance on all other purchases, except that buyer may decline insurance on purchases under $50. I prefer to ship by USPS First Class Parcel. Shipping charges are computed on its listing according to USPS standard rates. Shipments of $500 or more will automatically have "Signature Confirmation" applied. If your shipment is less than $500, and you would like signature confirmation added, please let me know. An additional fee may be charged. We reserve the right to add "Signature Confirmation" to any shipment, at our discretion. Purchases will be shipped to the name/address specified on the Paypal transaction associated with the Purchase Order. There is no handling fee included in my shipping charges. Payment is due within 72 hours of submitting a Purchase Order. If payment is not received within this time frame and other arrangements have not been made for payment, we reserve the right to cancel outstanding purchase orders. Purchases made by Paypal will generally be shipped within 24 hours of payment, with the possible exception of items purchased late on Friday or Saturday. (See Service Pledge above.) I ship all items in sturdy cardboard shipping boxes and wrap all items securely in ample bubble wrap, tissue paper and/or plastic bags as needed. I am happy to combine multiple purchases to reduce shipping charges on most items. However, large and/or bulky items may not be eligible for combined shipment. I do not ship internationally at this time, except on a case by case basis. I do not ship to Italy, China, or Russia under any circumstances.
